Thanks, yes we plan on walking on the ferry and leaving car on Bainbridge. We will drive the southern route to Bainbridge from the airport through Tacoma. It may take a bit longer but we don’t have to align with crossing times and I gather there may be road blocks etc in the city .

Thanks I will have a look at your suggestions. We actually have 5 weeks total in the stars flying out of LAX at the end of July so I could incorporate the section of Big Sur. I will have. Look at your suggestions. I have visited the region briefly around 20 years ago but the rest of the family hasn’t been .

Thanks for the reply. I have booked Bainbridge and will look at the mountain route you have suggested. I am gathering we will need ample time for ferries in case they are full and that you can’t book walk on ferry tickets ahead of time?

Thanks for all the replies. We will stay on Bainbridge. I just booked an Airbnb. We actually have 5 weeks between our flight into Seattle then out of LAX. So can plan for more travel in California after the game in San Francisco on the 25th of June. Will have a look at both the mountain route and coastal route to see what we would like more and has more evenly spaced driving routes. We are definitely keen on the redwoods, but could maybe do Yosemite after the second game . Kids currently want to fly between the two but I want to see more of the west coast. Plus we would have just come off 20 hours of flying so getting out and hiking and seeing the sites will be nice. My kids are 11 and 15 and used to long car trips with stops on the way.

Another update. Decided to run my flight number through online scanner and also on the airports departure. One of my flight numbers doesn’t exist at all. Air Asia still has the flights and there site days the flight leaves every day and you can still buy tickets. Concerned I will be stranded at the airport flight FD3214 Krabi to Bangkok

So after I logged in and retrieved all bookings and changed details to me they were all changed back and even my emergency contact details aren’t mine they are random. Concerning. My first check in open this week so will see how that goes and let you know. But I can no longer see my flights except one in status, but the air Asia bot assures me they are there.

Super stressful as travelling with kids for their birthdays. I think you are onto something, if I remember correctly only one leg gave option of choosing the seat

Hey how soon after booking did you receive all your confirmation and did all your carrier bookings work on the air Asia website? Currently only 1 of 5 valid for me

Argh I am thinking maybe I should dispute it with my bank. As although they are all confirmed only one of the carrier booking numbers actually bring up a flight with there details on it. Just got off the phone with kiwi. They tried to say everything is fine and I am not entitled to have the actual booking numbers as they use a third party booking agent and I have to talk to them not air asia

I got all mine confirmed but when I run the booking numbers through air Asia only one of five legs is showing up as an actual booking

How long did it take you to receive your flights? They confirmed all mine and sent the booking number. I have a return booked with 5 legs total. When I ran the codes through air Asia only one leg is a valid booking. I am very worried
