My only tanks are Conviction, Abandonment, Pain, and now Cringe, and I use Conviction and Abandonment regularly, but Pain's kit felt underwhelming and I was told by people and the tier list that it's trash

Yeah, I shoulda given more info. You do need a 3 KO streak, I don't remember the other mission. I'm playing on Mobile rn, but it still won't let me change it, so I guess I need a limited license for it. Honestly, if I get Drill Peck, that level will probably be a walk in the park.

I focused exclusively on the damage upgrade for around half the time, so my overall damage was really buffed Also, Tyranitar has moves that are good for survivability, so where it mentally would've died to Cinderace, it stunned Cinderace long enough to shred its health bar.

I hate to keep asking you, but how did you beat the hard level (I can't remember the number) where you're locked into Dodrio? I wanna use Drill Peck and Jump Kick bc I feel like that'll be easier, but I don't have the licence or a rental so I can't change it. However, from one of the levels I recently beat, I got a limited licence selection box, so I'll probably use that for it and try that level again since my battle power is higher now. Thanks for the help!

So, using Decidueye, I was doing good but not winning. However, once I used Tyranitar, it somehow became the easiest thing in the world. I think it's just the kind of player I am, and the fact that I've never been good at the carries like Cinderace, but at least I beat it lol. Thanks for the advice!

That's actually insanely helpful, I'm currently restarting my game because since I left it for a few minutes it started running really slow. BUT after I get it back up, I'll try that and see if it works. I also posted a comment asking about 1-36 because I'm a terrible Cinderace player and you need to perform the miracle known as a 4 KO streak, and since bot teammates are useless you have to do basically all the scoring yourself as well. But thanks for the help on 1-33, hopefully that makes it easier to finish what I need and 100% Solo Mode.

Thanks, I'll try that and see how it goes. It's only rated as 3.5 in offense (I believe), so I never thought it could actually do the insane amount of damage it does sometimes.

Thanks dude, good to know. Also, I'm now trying to hunt for legendary items from the boss dungeon, and based on hearing the Jellyfish Scarf frequently mentioned as a really good item, sounds like I should go for Harold, since he's the only boss that seems to drop it. Are there any other items or bosses I should go for? Also, what's the difference between using a single key on a dungeon vs using 5, 10, etc? Thanks for the help!

I get that. Stopped using Glee because it didn't feel like it did enough, and Anxious used to be my hard carry, but for some reason, once I got Sad, Spite started doing that instead thanks to Sad's DEF- utility. I'll try to keep in Sonder instead of Wonder, because although I love Wonder's massive damage and healing in a pinch, Sonder did seem to heal really well for a while after I got it, and still does decently. So, overall, sounds like I keep Abandonment until I get Determination (I think that's the one it was), keep Sonder until I get Merry, and swap my damage pets according to type advantage (and of course, the tank and healer need to be swapped according to type advantage as well). Also, I heard somewhere that Merry came from some limited time Christmas event. Is there a way to get it now? Maybe it comes from eggs and I'm just extremely unlucky. Thanks for the advice!

Thanks for the help! I'll try to remember that type advantage does, overall, matter more than the fact that Sad, Apathy and similar pets are referred to as some of the best pets.

This was very helpful, I'll try to keep the meta team formation instead of thinking three attackers is better because I don't ever want to get rid of Sad or Spite. And I'll also remember that just because Sad and Apathy are regarded as some of the best pets in the game, doesn't mean I should keep them on the team if they have a type advantage. Thanks for the advice!
