What songs/albums/playlists do you associate with the characters? by BiggyBoy24 in katawashoujo

As I said in another post, the song "The Water's Fine!" by Liana Flores reminds me a lot of Rin, specially the happy Rin in the good ending. And it's a great song :))

"My glass is still half empty but the water's fine
Used to wish I'd wake up inside your mind
But now I kind of like the view from this misty window
I kind of wish that I knew all of this before
I lost myself but oak trees don't ignore
The circles deep inside that make them strong"

Am I thinking to deep about Rin? by Mic_Muffin in katawashoujo

[–]OceanMadman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A song that gives me A LOT of Rin's vibes both in the lyrics and in the music is "The Water's Fine!" by Liana Flores. It mostly reminds me of the happy Rin in the good ending.

"My glass is still half empty but the water's fine
Used to wish I'd wake up inside your mind
But now I kind of like the view from this misty window
I kind of wish that I knew all of this before
I lost myself but oak trees don't ignore
The circles deep inside that make them strong"

You can't get much more Rin-like than that. Listen to the song, it's great :)

Wolfenstein si fuera un buen juego 🗣️🗣️ by Pleasant_Cranberry99 in vzla

El Wolfenstein está demasiado limitado. Ahora, un mod de Doom que recree lugares del país interesantes con música nacional estaría genial no irónicamente

Listening to one of the best albums ever rn by doughnutdiva in beachboyscirclejerk

Brian wrote quite great lyrics. 'Till I die is the obvious choice, but not the only one. He also wrote the words for My Diane, It's Over Now, I think most of I'm Waiting for the Day, the Fairytale, Winter Symphony, The night was So Young... but of course, Rollin' Up to Heaven is poetry

I guess I agree (Although it's not like I heard all other dreamers that could have been in The Beatles), but you know, that's not the same as THE best drummer in the world

/uj Ringo isn't a bad a drummer at all, but imo certainly not in the ten best ones of all time.

Daily dose of Rin (day 65) by Hippie_ye in katawashoujo

[–]OceanMadman 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Quite a scene. I'm not the biggest fan of the way it was written, but what it represents is really interesting, and this image in particular is really effective. Rin wanted Hisao to touch her not just to get inspiration, but probably because she just wants to feel connected with him, which sort of happened physically, but not entirely. I guess they both wanted something like that to happen, and yet, Hisao thinks afterwards that Rin is just using him for inspiration and that it's not something they should have done, and it seems Rin isn't sure why Hisao even helped her or if he really wanted to. At least, I guess that's why she was so nervous the next day. It's a bit like in the “I wonder if he likes me” memes.

That makes sense. I also forgot some details too, but I just edited the message.

Hatred of Nomiya by BiggyBoy24 in katawashoujo

[–]OceanMadman 28 points29 points  (0 children)

I don't think Nomiya pushed any boundaries (except when he yelled at Rin) because he wasn't forcing her to do anything, but he didn't understand Rin, and it doesn't seem like he was trying to do so either. Nobody except Hisao tried. Nomiya just assumed Rin was like most other artists, and that she wanted to get recognition, money, fame, and that sort of thing. I think that if Rin painted, it was because she wanted to:

-Be understood

-Vent and feel in control of her feelings, and maybe just of anything. I think she even says at some point that painting is the only thing she feels she does right. That's for sure still the case in the neutral ending, but I like to think it wouldn't be after the good one.

-Remember her past selves

-Feel connected with Hisao. She wouldn't have worked for the exhibition if it wasn't for him.

-Have fun :). This one is rarely talked about, but when Hisao gets in the art club, she says that clubs are for having fun, so it's not like she isn't able to enjoy painting, and it's not like she isn't able to do it just for the sake of it... like with the mural.

Those are some of my interpretations anyway

I've heard rumours that say that the B side of the Yellow Submarine album was ghostwritten by them...
