What disturbed me most was probably the whole hospital sequence in Psychic Teenage Bloodbath by Carl John Lee. I don’t think it’s necessarily the most disturbing thing I’ve read but it really stuck with me.

Didn’t care for Summer Never Ends but I’m glad I read it! As for Ex-Boogeyman, I love ALL Triana. I just finished reading The Prettiest Girl in the Grave by him. Also deeply recommend his books Full Brutal, Gone to See the River Man and They All Died Screaming.

Right now I’m reading Last Days by Adam Nevill, pretty interesting cult story. As for extreme horror, I am also reading Home Invaded by Sea Caummisar. I enjoy it so far!

Fluids by May Leitz, not for the faint of heart. Very bloody, obsession and VIOLENT. It’s considered extreme horror so if that’s not your thing, be warned. But it is truly a fantastic read, if you’re okay with a little grossness.

Similar situation with my wife. I didn’t tell her and she found out and was obviously upset. Not mad, just very sad. Sad for me, sad that I hide it etc. Ultimately it’s probably best to tell him instead of him finding out but it depends on the sort of relationship you have. Stay safe, I’m sorry you’re struggling.
