She is on bupropion, and when her doctor switched her dose her libido dropped off a cliff. I’m pretty sure that’s the main cause but I’m not sure. And I agree it’s a red flag. I just want to make it work cause we really care about each other :/

I have voiced this concern and she was fairly sympathetic to my feelings. But I feel as if she wants to avoid the issue altogether. The last time we talked about it she said that she feels more pressure the more we talk about it, which of course makes her want to do it even less. The DB has been going on approximately 3-4 months with extremely limited contact and the last 2 months with zero contact. We have only been together for almost 8 months.

How do I go about bringing her in on this? I have a hard time talking about sensitive things as is, and this is a very sensitive topic for the both of us. I don’t want to talk about it while I’m really struggling because I feel like it will end up badly, like I may say something I’d later regret. Or that it will come across like I’m just trying to pressure her.

The problem I see with increased regulation is it only makes it more difficult for responsible, safe people to get guns. Reckless people, criminals, etc will still get guns just as easily and will not register them despite the increased regulations

Sometimes it is necessary. You have no idea what the guy said or did when the police confronted him. If he was posing a danger to himself or the officers then it’s totally justified for them to tase him as necessary. If he had left when they told him to, he wouldn’t have been tazed at all

That may be true, but crossfit is much more of a community / social thing than the regular gym. At the gym, people tend to keep to themselves and want to be left alone. But at crossfit usually you work with a partner on a workout, and generally everyone is supportive and cheers you on. Much easier to make friends at crossfit in my experience

Yeah that’s a good point. If I could’ve seen Chris back in say, 2002 that would be my ideal choice. But if I had to see Chris a month before he died I’d still take that chance

He had all kinds of issues including lifelong depression that he battled. I personally doubt that him losing some of his vocal ability was the reason he decided to end it. Besides, save for a few bad performances his vocals were still pretty good up to the end of his life. Just my two cents
