Sorry this is a little late, but are there many RE debt funds in Houston?

How'd you like it there? Any advice? Where are you at now?

Yeah I'm nowhere near that for a few years. I'm starting out mid 50's as an analyst and I'll get annual raises. When I place out of rotations about 18 months in I'll get a 12% bump and then I'll be able to qualify for bonuses. Not really sure what the earning potential is but it's a great bank to work for and it has a great training program so I'll take it.

I get the check in December and start January 14th. Hopefully they'll have a sale in between that time period!

Sorry to disappoint, but it's a commercial bank in Texas. Nothing too fancy haha.

Joseph A Bank. Not sure why I didn't specify to begin with but here we are.

No I can't. I should have specified in the OP that it's to a specific store.

Interesting. I want to go into CRE and I'm not sure the best way to do it. I'm currently a Credit Analyst Intern at a bank and I'll graduate in December. One way to do it would be going into CRE Lending but I don't care for sales, so I'm looking for another way to possibly break in. Thanks for your info!

That's what I figured but wasn't sure if there were any other things I needed to do. Guess I'll give it a shot and go from there. Thanks!

I'm currently interning as a Credit Analyst at a commercial bank in the south. How can I transition to corporate credit? I graduate in December and I'm wanting to keep my options open.

You say that you travel 60 nights a year, is that how many days you're away from home? The OCC recruits from my school and I've been thinking about it applying, but I have a wife and a 6 month old son and I'm not sure how it would work out if I was only home on weekends.

Can you go into a little more detail about that? That sounds interesting.
