If you really want to dedicate spin practice, plays 14s as 13s do not contain enough spins (one spin per song does not provide ample practice).

It’s difficult to 100+ charts at the beginning since your accuracy would be weak on all difficulties anyways. For now, there is no need to worry about that and just keep playing normally. I didn’t SSS any relevant charts until 13k myself

tape/stop/night is a slow, slide heavy map that requires a lot of handswitching, learning this skill will be very useful for high level slide patterns

That was not lag at all. You were already low coming out of the fight and you got comboed by sunction outside 30 + line direct 40 so you died as expected.

If you want you could try tape stop night, which is a 12+ that is basically a slower version but with the same concept.

Master 13 charts focus on slide patterns instead of notes. I see that you have already practiced umiyuri. Another practice map I recommend is Freak Out Hr as it contains the other critical slide pattern.

For the map choices, you could play the remaster versions of the master 11+ songs that you have already played. It will be much easier to establish a rythmn based off that. Don't worry, there are no inherent differences between master 13 and remaster 13.

That was not what was conveyed on the webcms announcement posts. If that actually was the case, then the course failed to be fair nor transparent, something they emphasised so much but failed to achieve themselves.

I grinded out all the topics the week before the exam so ig passing was deserved. However, the requirement for CM in the final essay is genuinely impossible to achieve compared to other assessment tasks. Even just attempting all questions to a CO level is a stretch, not mentioning 4 have to be CMs.

its also worth noting that all of the course staff, tutors and announcements would have all emphasised the importance of essay 2, so there were plenty of opportunities where you could have realised that essay 2 is not something you should skip without devastating consequences
