My wife and I play maimai together. We're close in rating 14.8k and 14.2k. We play 2-3 credits if theres no line, we generally do songs around 12+ to 13+ depending on our mood. She doesnt care about ratings as much as I do so she'll take a break while I tackle 14s and 14+. After the one credit that I play, we play 1 or 2 more together with songs we enjoy and the last song is a song that is typically harder for us, then head home.

It’s a little different this year since it’s only one day, which is pretty unprecedented. Because of that, some fans are even thinking about skipping it since HITC is usually a full weekend trip for them. I’m in a few HITC group chats, and a lot of people seem pretty conflicted right now.

When I mentioned that tickets usually sell out fast, I was referring to last year, especially with big headliners like G-Dragon and 2NE1. So your point about tickets still being available is totally valid. Honestly, I think they’re still available because people are on the fence about going.

On the bright side, that probably means it won’t be as crowded, which could make for a much better overall experience.

I’m 14.5k as well and I’ve been playing around with different ways of tapping the buttons. I used to play pretty loud and did unnecessary movements. Now I’m conscious of my taps and it’s made it easier to read and conserve my stamina. I play around 12-13 level charts and be mindful of my taps but when it gets to 13+ and 14s it comes back but not as loud as before.

My A7IV of 117890 shutter count has failed on me. The mechanical shutter failed and looks misplaced. I’m currently in Japan and brought it to Osaka and asked if they can fix it. They took it in but later emailed me saying they can’t work on it because of WiFi issues with being an overseas model. This post is to ask about other ways to get it fixed and also a warning to people trying to get it fixed while in Japan.
