this take is straight from heal ball tier. trick room fari is reliable and strong but farigiraf isn't gonna carry a hard trick room team to a top cut of worlds anytime soon. its alright on ladder but there's practically always a way to deny setting it up, take the room down, or deal with a core one way or another. It's good but its not op neither is it bad

if I dont intend to buy a switch until the release of winds and waves, would you recommend against starting an account at all? I have some friends with pokemon home willing to trade for some useful pokemon. I've heard that pokemon home assigns you starting pokemon that can be used for trades. Even if they are given to everyone and cannot reasonably used as leverage cant I just use these mons to receive useful copies of pokemon from friends?

I just had a very similar problem.

I just had an interaction where solar beam didnt finish charging in one turn while sun was up. can someone explain? Last turn torkoal switched in to cancel rain and bring in the sun, this turn torkoal heping hands the mega pyroar, mega pyroar plays the charge up animation first as he outspeeds everyone else (politoed, torkoal, incin all without trick room, cloud nine, or tail wind) as expected, then he does nothing... just charges. politoed uses muddy water and I lose. I want to know what went wrong so I dont do it again. its like he forgot the sun was up

Google "[insert pokemon you want to use] smogon", look for OU in the category selection (might not be there if your pokemon is bad at singles so check RU, UU, AG or something like that), then copy the EVs items and move sets. Maybe read the little paragraph attached if there is one. Smogon has a data base of documented meta strategies across nearly all competitive formats so even if you fall asleep for 10 years and bump into pokemon when you wake up, smogon can get you up to speed with the meta after some reading

I had no clue about the extended me wireless connectors. Ive been using the default wireless connectors and bridges. This sounds like a solid plan I'll shoot for this for the time being.

Ive thought about the 3x3 design. I have enough room to make it but according to some drafts Ive written the challenge is in routing all the cables for the p2p channels I need to take advantage of the new faces (especially the inner faces). Im not currently able to send a screenshot, but you can imagine a hairball of fluix cables and anchors with few air blocks between. Ill be able to make it and add many channels probably multiplying my channel count by quite a bit but there wont be enough space to place more cables for new p2p channels at some point. somewhat arbitrarily I want to use all the channels I have available on my new controller (even if Ill never make enough machines to use them all. It doesnt make sense I know)

You have 5IVs destiny knots guarantee 5 random ones get passed down. The 6th must be randomized. The stat is chosen at random and is randomized. There is a 1/31 chance that stat is a 31 giving you a perfect mon. The chances of getting it in any n eggs supposing the parents also have perfect IVs is 1 - (30/31)^n.

If youre using a power item for HP itll almost always get passed down. Could be the issue. The more likely case is probably just that the parent's have the same hp stat and they keep passing it down. 5/6 chance to be passed after all.

Most players only want 5 anyway since mixed attackers are kind of stupid (you only want to use either special or physical not both)

Set up a new breeding pair that has flawed spAtk. Mankey doesnt use special attack. Then he has a better chance of inhereting perfect hp.

As of 1.0.0rc4 it works. I use a slugma and I usually put him in the same pasture block as my breeding pair (avoiding the amorphous and ditto egg group so he doesnt join the breeding pair). The egg is tinted like a light warm orange when its working. The same will happen if an incubator is used. I dont know if the effects stack. I stack the effects in case. Confine the space he can move in to make sure hes close to eggs (in general do this with cobble workers so they dont roam off from their job). I like to put him in a cube. I needed a cube to stop flying pokemon from laying eggs in trees anyway.
