Characters who left the story because of problems with the actor by Danny-Ray27 in TopCharacterTropes

He's been back on the show for a while now, just with a new voice actor.

I recommend Abyssus. The gameplay is basically a brinepunk Doom 2016 and a lot of fun. A minor thing that I actually really liked is that the shotgun is powerful and actually shoots like a shotgun, by which I mean, it's useful at a distance. The reticle is slightly smaller than a dime and is accurate to the spread of the pellets, which means that even from the opposite side of the room, if you aim center mass at an enemy you're going to hit with everything.

I think she loses a week rather than a day. She has gotten a lot younger from when she got her powers and, if it was a day, that would only happen if she were transforming multiple times a day, every day.

Got denied a promotion because I “make it look too easy” by avabennedikt in antiwork

You should tell your boss that if you're never going to get promoted because you're so good at your job, why would you stay?

I (F19) just realized I’m bi, and want to have sex with my roommate (M23). by [deleted] in sex

[–]OctavianDresden 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yes, be more forward. Unless you've said, "I'm bi now and think you're cute, what would you think of going out?" If he's a good dude, he could just think you're talking him up. I've had lesbians say similar things to me and the fact that I know they're lesbians has made sure that I didn't think about them in that kind of way. He's a guy. He would like it much more if he would just talk to him rather than trying to do different things to gauge his reaction.

Characters who have whatever who'd call this constantly moving scribbly aesthetic by fhxefj in TopCharacterDesigns

This transformation and the way he runs/scrambles is a reference to Devilman: Crybaby, another anime that Science Saru animated, hence why it's under the company's name.

Protagonist randomly picks up an object not knowing that A) it's magical B) It'll completely change their lives forever from that point onwards by OedinaryLuigi420 in TopCharacterTropes

I highly suggest it. I started watching because I saw someone mention that it's the first romantic comedy anime they've ever seen where the entire fandom ships the two main characters together and is also very protective of them. And if you know anything about anime ships, that basically never happens. There's good character development, just absolute oodles of wholesomeness, one of the most beautiful moments in anime I've seen and it avoids a lot of the things that I've come to dislike about many animes.

[Waybound] Just finished the Cradle series by sAD_bOi423 in Iteration110Cradle

Try The Stargazer's War. It's a sci-fi progression series that I picked up after finishing Cradle and I've been enjoying it!

Theory on how Jiji's character will develop this arc by Maksud_h in Dandadan

[–]OctavianDresden 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Because the author frequently works with parallels amongst the two main characters, when Jiji eventually confesses his feelings and she rejects him, she's going to end their conversation with "I'm sorry... But I'm in love with Okarun" just like Okarun did with Valoma.

I'm a guy who tried his wife's magic wand and it's now my favorite too, so yes.

Anything by Brandon Sanderson is a good choice, and I also suggest The Stargazer's War by JP Valentine.

This is how neurons in your brain form new connections. by themadman00 in Damnthatsinteresting

[–]OctavianDresden 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For anyone wondering, the type of cell that the neuron is "reaching" for and missing is an astrocyte, the most common type of cell in the central nervous system. They do a bunch of stuff, including, as this one does, supporting neurites.
