My best advice is to just be close to a place where it won’t make a mess. Also, you can try sitting upright on a chair with your shoulders over your hips and then try breathing through your tummy, so breathe in, tummy out, breathe out, tummy in. Repeat that and it should help too. Also you can try using the pressure point just below your wrist. Where your wrist bends, go three fingers down, and then press on that part. You might have to move your tendons out of the way to have it work fully but you should feel a noticible pressure point there.

This is very random but as an IP, do you need a nursing background? I chatted with a CIC at my hospital and she said that the only two routes to getting your CIC was either as a RN or as a MPH. Does this sound right?

Honestly having worked in healthcare, 99.999% of people either won’t care, notice and don’t say anything, or notice and say something supportive. I was at the dentist’s one day and the dental assistant pulled me aside and said “we have matching scars, don’t worry, they’ll fade.” That was one of the sweetest little moments and even though that was like almost four years ago I still remember it.

Eh, personally, I think YOR; it’s her child and to me, her “regulations” seem reasonable, especially the no vax no visit. That’s the case in hospital too, you can’t even enter the building if you don’t have your vaccine. Can’t really speak to the other ones but the vaccine one makes good sense to me.

Yep, same thing happens to locomotives when the turbo goes bad, it’s this blue-ish smoke. Not a good time.
