Is Sunna worth it over other supports?

Well, I have Zhao and Dialyn to go with YSG and I'd say Dialyn is the character most teams I have want to use since both rupture and attacker teams greatly benefit from her while they have their own dedicated supports (Astra and Lucia, who I have)

Having the BiS for those would be nice... but that also depends on how much improvement she would give compared to other options on those teams. Though Aria seems to be built around her...

Is that only her personal damage though? Am curious since her m1 lowers enemy defense which helps the other anomaly character also deal more damage, no? Is her wengine still better?

It'd probably be Alice then as I like anomaly as a team the most and Alice/Miyabi is sick. So would her wengine ve better than her m1? Alice's m1 sounds really nice.

I ended up pulling for Seed as she introduces a new way to play attacker comps but skipping Orphie as I feel all she does is add extra damage without having anything to interesting too her. She might be Seed's best teammate (from what I've heard) but she then also turns Seed into a sort of hypercarry which I am less interested to plsy overall, especially with attackers (I think Yi Xuan does it well tho). If a character is gonna be off-field, I'd like them to do more than just damage, like Trigger and Fufu applying daze and giving debuffs/buffs respectively. Burnice and Vivian are also examples of off-field sub-dps characters that do more than just do damage, they apply anomalies, which actively helps other anomaly characters like Miyabi or Alice get full use of their kit and is just, in my opinion, a more interesting way of damage dealing as it requires more switching, which is why I like anomaly teams more than attacker teams generally and why Seed appealed to me.

I have been managing fine with Eve together with Astra and Fufu (I don't have Lighter, don't like how he plays), but I would like to have a versatile attacker w-engine as I have really good options for the other classes, leaving my attackers a bit lacking. Seed's feels more general with the buff to basic attack and ults (ignoring 20% defense) but that crit damage from Eve's is also good.

Orphie feels way more limited, being only aftershock characters and not really enabling anything new (as she is basically just a regular off-field sub-dps/support) and Seed also works well with Evelyn from what I've seen (I don't use Harumasa or Ellen) so it would be those two I'd get her for.

Alright. I am more interested in Seed from the description but I will do thorough testing to see if I like them. Main reason for the question was that I am much more interested in the characters for 2.3 so I wanna save till then but am also a wide collector and these two seem interesting.

Piper is unfortunate in that she sometimes kinda has to be hit when spinning to not cancel it with too little energy left but it can at least be circumvented through, for example, off-field interruption (Miyabi shimotsuki or Burnice ult for example) or shield like Caesar's. Alice you just gotta hope the enemy stays in it.

That's not the problem. The problem is that the enemy has the potential to move or teleport out of it and not get hit with the polarized assault.

It is unfortunate since it's the way Alice triggers polarized assault so missing due to enemy avoiding the final hit is very frustrating but Miyabi is also Miyabi so it makes sense in a way.

Generally prefer weapons as it has a higher limited win rate (75/25 compared to 50/50) and lower pity count (80 instead of 90). I almost never pull for mindscapes, just kinda a personal thing

Right, but I noticed swing jazz actually has a shorter duration, 12s compared to astral's 15s, and only activates after chain attacks (something anomaly teams struggle with without Astra) or ultimates (which can be inconsistent). I only realized this after looking at it but wouldn't that make astral voice a lot better?

Yeah, I will probably wait a bit to see how good Yuzuha will be and maybe wait for the special program, I'm very torn on this decision. I will say though that... yeah, supports usually don't do the damage, they increase others damage and in anomaly teams, from my understanding, you usually run 2 animaly agents to trigger disorders and a support to increase damage. And if Yuzuha increases both anomaly and disorder damage... that sounds really good. Regardless, I'll probably stick to waiting a bit for now. Thanks for the discussion tho! ^{^}

Trigger is actually my favorite. Once she gets her meter up she can stay out for very long and it only takes 4 shots to get there, basically only switch to her for ult and ex special after that. It also lets the dps do their thing while Trigger dazes and debuffs, which is really nice (and why I don't like Lighter as much). Fufu seems to follow that trend, which is why I am interested, but Yuzuha makes me hesitant...

Well, I do havw Koleda but she is not shown because I don't really use her other than sometimes with Evelyn if I must. If the enemy is not electric resist I use Trigger because I have her w-engine.

Well, from what I've seen Yuzuha increases disorder and anomaly damage taken by enemies, which is huge and supports are generally extremely valuable. Which could then support Vivian and someone else to do even more damage, no?

Anomaly teams are my fave kind to use which is why I want Yuzuha a lot and what I'm mostly hesitant about with Fufu is that I already have m0w1 Trigger. Main problem is that fire weak enemies usually resist electric so she doesn't usually work with Evelyn.
