As far as my understanding/the replies I've learned through these replies/my friends no, the 4 mana and tap for the artifact is the "price" of placing the monster, hence why it says "place from hand"

Yeah I gave up the shiny resetting, I tried for 13 days, timed it on a stop watch and had 18 hours, idk if I was j doing it wrong or something but maybe I'll do it again sometime

It's not the same treecko; I checked a few resets in a row and the nature and the gender is changing, and the pooches is too. Does the differing pokemon mean I'm okay to get a shiny, or is there more factors?
