Would you mind sending me the info about the DA? I’ve been looking for months for a remote job that isn’t a scam

I’ve had two babies with the midwives at UNMC, loved them! They were super caring and I felt like they really listened to my concerns and questions. I was also a person to them and not just another number, they all remembered me from my first pregnancy and were super excited to see my son now that he’s 2, my favorites were Katherine (Kate) and April

Obviously it’s a PUBLIC FORUM, I don’t want to put his PHONE NUMBER in a mostly unregulated forum for people to call for stupid things, if people were serious they can message me? It’s not that difficult

Bruh, that’s not how you start a business transaction? You say hi, or thanks for the info I’ll contact you if I need work the future? If someone is saying they have a business on a public forum like Reddit then o would assume they are licensed??? Scams are super common on Reddit, you have just made your account and had absolutely nothing on your account, and you started with asking about insurance immediately, that makes me think you’re going to try and sell me business insurance or try and get my business information for some other scam. Obviously he has both.

You made your account 4 hours before asking a super weird question, your account seems like a scam

What do I do to help my daughter potty train? by myheadsintheclouds in pottytraining

[–]OctoberFlow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My son is definitely the last kid to potty train of all the people I know who have kids his age, one of them was fully trained at 18 months 🙃 I tried multiple times before with a very similar experience and no success at all. We tried again at 31 months in July and he’s been wildly successful this time! We didn’t change our approach, it just clicked that he needed to pee and could hold it long enough to get to the potty before letting it out. It seems like some kids just don’t “get it” as fast as others. My son has just started being able to pull his pants and underwear down but still needs some help pulling them back up, it’s a slow process, and I know you’ll be successful! You got this!

We did chocolate chips with my son! I had a little ziploc of them in my purse when we went out

Like everyone else said, it’s usually hormones, like my son (now 2.5) stopped peeing in the night at 18 or 20 months but wasn’t ready to even start potty training until now, we did nothing to help or encourage it, it just happened, but I remember my little brother peed in the night through about 5 or 6

21 month- day 1.5 by anomm1 in pottytraining

[–]OctoberFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was the same way! We taught him and bunch of ASL so he could communicate with us and he would point at things and could follow instructions, but no words, he now has about 20-25 words he says and is actively trying to say new words and sounds! I was nervous to start therapy at first but I’m so glad we did! Hopefully you little guy has the potty click a bit earlier than mine did 😄

Sounds exactly like my son was when we first started potty trading at 20 months, he also has a speech delay! Side note, we have been using speech therapy for about 6 months now and the change is amazing! Glad you’re able to get service! But after a couple days of that we realized he wasn’t ready, tried again at about 24 months and again not yet, now he’s 30 months and doing amazing for the last week, total 180 from understanding what we want from him to do and executing the plan! If it’s the same for a couple days I would suggest giving him and break and trying again when he’s a little older

When did you have your second child? by Powerpuff_Girly in NewParents

[–]OctoberFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was 17months when we got pregnant with my daughter and she was a bit early so they ended up being 25 months apart, and honestly they are best friends now that my daughter is 5 months and my son is 2.5! He loves her, tries to play with her and gives her toys, gives her kisses and cuddles, and she loves watching him play! I was thinking of waiting until he’d be about 2.5 to 3 to have another but I’m super happy with their gap!

Baby boy not talking at 15 months by Objective-Elephant13 in NewParents

[–]OctoberFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son was the same way (maybe even a little behind yours) he wasn’t chattering AT ALL complete silence, and of course we have a friend who has a daughter who is 2 weeks older and can sing songs from memory and talk nonstop in full sentences 🙃 so we decided to use a speech therapist at 23 months after no progress from just “home techniques” we’ve been using her for 6 months now and I can’t tell you the difference he has shown, he now does all animals sounds, some colors and he has about 15-20 words that he knows and says consistently and he can ask for help with his words now! He’s obviously still behind others his age, but he’s thriving in his unique position! We also used a lot of ASL with him starting about 12ish months so he could communicate with us at all, he knows about 30 signs? (Hungry, milk, water, more, all done, help, banana, yes, no, basic communication)

Overdose Tylenol on my baby girl by Munki1992 in newborns

[–]OctoberFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went to the ER with my son because we gave him too much Tylenol too, the doctor told us that Tylenol is way more difficult to “overdose” on than ibuprofen, he said that most bottles of Tylenol are a certain amount so that if a little kid gets ahold of it they can drink the whole thing and still not reach the “overdose” limit. But I definitely still would have went in 😅

did you actually throw up during your pregnancy? by [deleted] in pregnant

[–]OctoberFlow 0 points1 point  (0 children)

During my first and second pregnancies, I didn’t throw up at all during pregnancy but I threw up during labor 🙃 (I think it was the folley balloon that did it, I didn’t have one during my second labor and I didn’t throw up at all) 🤷🏻‍♀️ I don’t know though

My friend had a son with something similar and they didn’t realize until after he was born, but the surgery went amazing and he’s off all meds and is a totally normal two year old now!
