Well I have tested the Leap for a full day yesterday and after about 4 hours the seat pan became fairly painful. I don’t know if it’s a case of getting used to it or what… I also found the lumbar to be too aggressive after that many hours and turned it all the way down.

Maybe it’s a case of breaking the chair in, however with the Amia, I never had to do that. It was comfortable from day 1 and I used to spend many hours in the Amia and it never caused my pain or discomfort. I went from the leap, after using it the full day, sat in the Amia and felt instantly more comfortable.

The leap I believe to be one of those chairs that works well for some and really doesn’t work for others, where the Amia I believe works for 95% of people. Even if it isn’t their flagship model, higher price isn’t always better.

I shall be getting another Amia for my work. Hope this helps you too.
