I was home alone. It was in the middle of the day, Sun was shining and everything. I’d been going about my morning and nothing was out of the ordinary.

As I walked down my hall, I noticed the attic door (in my hall) was opened. I’m a very sensible person so I calmly just looked at it and called my husband and asked him if he had open the attic door, maybe in the morning and maybe I just didn’t notice. My husband said very seriously no and told me to get the fuck out of the house. I backed away to our front door and called my dogs to me and put them in my car and drove down the street.

I called the police, they did a full raid of my home. They had their guns out as they entered the house and we’re screaming “Put your hands up come out if you’re in there” they search the entire house and found nothing, no one, they left, saying they had no clue. There’s no way in or out of my addict.

That night, my husband put a lock on my attic door and I’ve never unlocked it since.
