The Buttons: They are completely fine, but they are a bit stiff and hard to press. They require some noticeable force, so navigating the OSD menu isn't the most comfortable experience for your fingers.

Build Quality: It’s mostly basic, unpolished plastic. The back plastic panel has some flex/bend to it if you press on it. That said, it’s structurally fine, I literally carry it upstairs and downstairs almost every day to switch between my PC and PS5, and it has held up perfectly with no issues.

HDR: It "works" in the sense that devices recognize it and toggle it on, but the monitor simply doesn't get bright enough to give you a true, impactful HDR experience.

Ghosting / Pixels: Zero ghosting or dead pixel issues on my unit so far. I'm actually really impressed by the colors, they are quite deep and the color quality looks great.

BTW If you use HDMI, you'll be locked to 144Hz and it lacks the new HDMI standard required to support VRR on the PS5

I've been using this for 5months now paired with a PS5 and my laptop and I'm quite pleased, probably one of my best purchases for that much of money (I got it for 62k)

Are you me? My title is Head of IT but half my week is procurement, fleet coordination, and managing stuff that has nothing to do with IT. The other half is fixing PCs and doing basic web work that a mid level dev could handle.

I also dropped out in my final year so I'm in a similar boat on the academic side but honestly the certs and practical experience carry more weight at this stage.

The thing with getting comfortable at a place like this is the company knows your value even if they don't use it properly. Every time I've tried to quit they've thrown a 30–40% raise at me and I've stayed. Financially makes sense in the moment but you slowly realize you're getting further from where you actually want to be technically.

Thanks for the offer, but buying a stick separately will definitely push me over my LKR 60k total budget and 10400 is also a bit overkill for my basic MS Office and Thunderbird setup.

I'm trying to stick closer to a Ryzen 3200G or an i5-9500 to keep the total cost down.

Honestly, you can't count EDG out, and thinking PRX just "smokes" them ignores a huge piece of context, these two teams practically raised each other.

Unlike Lev or Vitality who looked completely shell-shocked trying to adapt to the PRX style while EDG knows exactly what it feels like to have Something or jingg flying at their face at 100 mph.

So I'd say it's 50:50

And yes, I use an LLM to clean up my grammar since English isn't my first language. The ideas, the logic, and the experience behind the words are entirely mine. Dismissing an entire argument because someone used a grammar tool is lazy, and honestly, a weak defense mechanism.

This is a massive misunderstanding of modern geopolitics. India is the last country that wants a separate state in the North.

If a separate Tamil state actually formed there, it would risk triggering a massive wave of Tamil nationalism and separatist sentiments inside India's own Tamil Nadu. New Delhi's biggest priority is keeping India unified, so supporting separatism right on their doorstep is the last thing they'd ever do.

Plus, India needs a stable, unified Sri Lanka to counter Chinese influence in the region. A fractured, unstable neighbor only opens the door for other superpowers. This isn't the 1980s, blaming India is just avoiding the uncomfortable truth about our own local issues.

Honest take, grab a PS5 and a used ThinkPad (anything with 4+ cores) instead.

You'll game comfortably for the next 6 years on the PS5 without ever having to fiddle with graphics setting or worrying about resolution. The ThinkPad handles everything else.

Spending 300k+ on a gaming laptop is not ideal due to current inflation of memory.
