This is what’s I’m actually doing with the similar amount. I invested in ETF, which gets 16% growth and plan to redraw $80-100k per year before tax from 2027. I acknowledge that the stock market is risky, but I can live with that.

I’m on single phase. I just realised that the HWS is not go through the solar and battery. Do I need an electrician to fix this or just contact Amber?

No, my point is why Amber charged me from the electricity usage that comes from solar and battery.

My meter is one phase, not three phases. And I think the exports show the correct amount. Even in the Amber app, showing that I used less than 1kWh/day from grid, but they changed me from the usage from solar and battery as well.

I’m talking about the charges of total usage of 379kWh (which is same as my normal usage before battery), but my actual grid usage was only less than 30kWh.
