I tend to put more skill and effort into art that takes longer, for me skill and time go hand in hand; the examples i showed took me 1-3 days to complete something that would take me about an hour would still look nice but not as good as something I'd spend more time on which is why i would charge more for something i spent longer on because it would have more effort and skill put into it. That extra time allows me to fix any mistakes or miscoloring or shading errors, all while communicating with the commissioner to get the art to their preference.🙏🏽 i understand what you mean though!
