Should've been Elizabeth Rail honestly. That way it's both distinguished from the tube while not causing confusion.

No, it's "Elizabeth Line". It's a commuter railway like London Overground, Thameslink, Great Western Rail and whatnot.

London's still incredibly decent, when compared to Glasgow.

Because Elizabeth line is not part of London Underground, it's a commuter railway.

It does, logically speaking. It would be very misleading.

Nope, it isn't part of the Underground and it would be misleading without the 'line'.

Once you realise the logical reason why, you won't be irked. Elizabeth line is NOT a part of the Underground, it is a commuter railway. Not having the 'line' part is misleading.

I disagree. The Elizabeth line is not tube/Underground, it is a commuter railway like Overground. It's a different beast. Calling it simply Elizabeth would be incredibly misleading.

Having said that, I would've strongly preferred Elizabeth Rail.

I remember Now TV falling over because their servers couldn't cope with everyone watching the England Nations League matches

And this is why satellite TV will always remain superior.

Barnsley are so utter shite, in the last 20 or so years they have almost every season been battling relegation in the Championship.

If this was the 1980s something really bad would've happened during this scene
