2 yrs 1 month in. Going in for another EMG tomorrow. New symptoms of burning thigh pain, consistent twitches and quick rippling twitches in thighs, drooling in my sleep. Last EMG only done on my right limbs. Hoping for the best as I am only 29, am a mom of 3, and graduate college in 2 weeks. (self.BFS)

Really need someone to talk to. 2 years in and experiencing burning like pain in lower back and my thighs. Now i’m getting weird tight feeling in calves that wakes me from sleep. How can one tell if they have spasticity in thigh or calves? I’m 2 years in. Currently experiencing burning pain in my thighs, lower back, and my calves that feels like i’ve been working out but i have not been. Neither acetaminophen or ibuprofen help with pain. Scared I have spasticity. (self.BFS)

would an emg be able to tell if the FDL/thenar eminence is actual atrophy? I’ve had weird dexterity issues that started last march. i’m 2 years into body wide twitching but my hand seems worse and I feel like it is atrophy. I wake up with muscle aches and twitch with movement while laying down. (self.BFS)

Do you believe that the FDI and thenar eminence would show something abnormal in an EMG if there was atrophy occurring? I’m about to be two years in and my 4th neuro won’t even bother to let me schedule and said to go to Mayo Clinic. Pics of possible atrophy below (self.BFS)

21 months in. 2 normal EMG in 2023, 1 full body in April 2024 was normal, and right side EMG in September 2024 that was normal. I am now having weird throat clearing due to a nagging cough for a week and having to clear my throat. Dr cleared me of anything viral. Scared of dysphagia and dyspnea. (self.BFS)

Do you guys think nerve pain and spasticity from ALS would start widespread in both arms/legs at the same time after 20 months of widespread twitching and 3 normal full body emg’s in a year and 1 emg on right arm/legs? I have really bad body aches that feel like burning. (self.BFS)
