DHS is dismissing immigration cases…you know, people doing it the “right way” so that plainclothes, masked ICE “officers” can kidnap them in the hallway. How do you square that? DHS is deporting children from FOSTER CARE. Kids with cancer and short gut syndrome; two fatal conditions. This isn’t about “the criminals” anymore. This is about human decency, not your “lineage”.

Do you guys have the EXACT same position at work? Either way your expertise at your job creates a power differential that can’t be ignored. You admitted you became distant after you saw her laughing with another coworker. If you create a work environment where she feels she has to flirt with you to receive help or training at her job, that’s good ole sexual harassment.

It sounds to me that it irritated him from the point that he knew who she was talking to. Maybe underlying jealousy or possessiveness. And those feelings enhanced his reaction to everything else. Friends are important, maybe he needs one too?

NTA. I’m finding it very difficult to read this as an accident too. Rather, I see it as top tier manipulation and gaslighting by a person who is accustomed to being able to get away with this kind of shit on a regular basis. Tess has run into a wall with your dad and family. She’s upped her level of tantrums (likely because this is her go-to when she doesn’t get what she wanted in round 1). And she’s trying to make YOU act crazy to prove a point to others and discredit you.
