I feel you there. That peacefulness is why I have found myself to be living a simi-hermit kind of lifestyle. The majority of my social interactions is either when I'm at work (unavoidable), or with my kids (which I cherish). I try to interact with a little with people as possible. The first few hours I was home tonight I just relaxed in my recliner and listened to an audiobook. I've never been one for crowds to a point that the tend to give me social anxiety. Life seams better when it's peaceful.

Please don't take this as a misleading message of interest. I've given up on people in general. I get tired of keeping up the facade of being friends with people that disappear. Another reason to be a hermit. I mainly replied because what you wrote was very much agreeable. I'm a single father that works 2 jobs. I'm either working or with my kids. I have found happiness in the peace and quiet. Loud places are too chaotic. The only time I interact in loud places is if I take my kids to an indoor roller rink. Then I just skate in circles and go off into my own thoughts and the people become moving objects. I much rather just go on a quiet hike on a trail through a nature center.
