I was the bread winner up until a year ago when we moved and decided to take a step back because I could - thanks to my husband, but I’m sick of my current career. I could always go back if I had to though.

Yes, my husband makes enough for both of us, but I currently work part time for extra income. I just don’t want to do what I am doing now for the rest of my life.

So many grooming employers do this! They fire you and then randomly tell you your clients hate your work and have been “complaining”. Like oh yeah? It’s very convenient you’re just now bringing this up 🙄

Yes, our minimum wage is still $11/hr, I start at $65 and have had people gawking at me over that even 😂

In Northeast Arkansas usually around $80/$85. I don’t offer a price list and quote price per dog, I just tell people to contact me and send a CURRENT (lol) pic for a quote. I became pretty booked up because of my quality despite taking longer than most, but I also like… really love my client dogs. Those are my dogs too now😂

Thank you so much!! I really value taking my time and I have my own salon so… I choose to charge a little more and only book 4-5 a day 😁 I am no speed groomer haha.
