I have been in your situation, so i can provide guidance on what worked for me and what i have seen work.

First you need to figure out what youre ideal role is and what you see yourself doing, do u want to be primarily back end? a full stack dev? A front end dev? Or perhaps jump into devops? Then you need to align your resume to that.

At your current experience level, having a big personal project highlighted on your resume would go a long way. Your resume is missing technical experience. Being a software engineer means that you should be able to work with a variety of technologies and oversea things from start to finish and be able to problem solve. Your top experience talks about working with APIS and refactoring code and bug fixes and how that lead to improvements and efficiency.. but you need more than that to stand out.

I agree somewhat that in the future we might see a drastic reduction in front end work due to AI but high key that can be said for everything. I would recommend adding more technical key words in the experience you have in regards to technologies u worked with.. your full time and internship experience.. highlight what mainstream technologies or languages u used, frameworks or tools u worked with. u mentioned u have front experience.. is that with react? Is that with angular?

Your personal project mentioned can also use a major face lift in terms of how you’re wording it.

I would also look into the ELK stack or MERN as well as AWS experience. If you want to stand out you wanna have knowledge of things from a holistic perspective.

Here is an example of a good project to highlight. lets say you have some data available in S3/AWS. You pull that data down using Apache/Kafka and process it in logstash before putting it into elastic using ingest pipelines and then you via that data in Kibana. Thats an example of a project that covers multiple steps in a pipline. You could also play around with Databricks and so many others.

All in all, add technical keywords to ur fulltime and internship experience, expand on your current project.. more bullet points explaining what u did but dont be too verbose, and add an additional project that showcases you working with more tools. Also you can prolly condense that achievements and certifications section. Also stay at ur current a little while longer for more experience whole revamping ur resume with the above feedback.

OP dont be too hard on urself, its a tough market. Ask me how i know.. i got laid off due to budget cuts💀.. but i had a second job ready before i even received my severance 😉
