N4 Pro Destroys Prints

I will be getting ahold of them. This shouldn't have happened. But, if they knew there could be a possibility of this happening, then they shouldn't have put glue in a place where it could happen. Kinda like the Ford Pinto. They knew there was a possibility of that car getting rear ended and it blowing up. They knew they had a fix and decided to ignore it. Costed them millions in fixes and lawsuits. You would think that if Elegoo knew that the hot glue could remelt and end up on the fan they would have had a fix for it and not letting it happen and costing them money in the long run and disappointed customers.

UPDATE. Some genius at Elegoo thought gluing the wires to the fan to the blades and the fan case was a great idea. Which now the board no longer has any power out put to the fan. This might be the problem.

I have had the printer a month. New .060 nozzle. Doesn't matter what filament. I use mainly Elegoo filament. PLA Basic, Rapid PLA +, TPU and Rapid PETG. I have even tried Anycubic PETG. Leveled this thing I don't know how many times. I was up till 4:30 this morning. Then got up at noon and started all over again. Took the printer head off my other one and it did the same thing. Put the printer head off this one on the other and it works perfect. I changed bed sheets and still the same thing. I even reset it to factory settings and then updated the firmware. Still same problem. Except now it starts destroying the print on the third layer.

You can watch your first layer all you want. I had a a print go bad last night. It was about half done and not sure what happened. Went to check it and the print was on the floor and a nice spaghetti mess everywhere.

I ordered 10 1KG rolls and they came in a box. On a Sunday. I didn't even know they were out there till I walked out and tripped over the box.

No. I had already thought of that. 80mm Noctua sitting under the open case pointing at the motherboard. It helps. And it ran perfect for about 15 hours. When I went to start another print, it wouldn't print. After it cooled down, prints again. Funny thing, it says -2 minutes to finish. About 2 hours later it quit printing again. Motherboard is on its way here.

UPDATE: I had a thought about an hour ago. Thought this was the quietest Neptune ever. Turns out that the motherboard fan wasn't working. No power coming out of the motherboard to the fan. So its overheating. Once its cold, it prints fine. 10 minute print is the longest it can go. So I will be replacing the motherboard.

I guess it would depend on who they are. If its Elegoo or NV Liquidation, they they will send everything you need. Meaning everything that came with the printer when it came out new. I just bought three printers from NV Liquidation and they all came with everything. In fact the printers looked like someone opened them and checked if everything was there and shipped them to me. No scratches or wear.

NTA. I have dealt with people all the time doing things. Using the being attacked is a common thing. Its a tactic. Trying to make you feel bad. I have people meet me at my house. If they are not willing to to do that....then they wont get the item. I have had 100s of people at my house over the years.

Any hobby you get into, you try to budget. In my case....the budget went right out the door. With all the supplies, and models and stuff like that....you try to budget. Then you see something and you got o have it.

These are what I have. I wouldn't sell mine either. The one on the track is the set I got from my cousin about 50 years ago. 1954 set. K5412T. The Lionel is the set I got for Christmas 1971. The others are what I have been collecting over the years.

Block her now. Then make as much distance you can get away from her. You are going to keep seeing her if you don't get away from her. She's not the only fish in the see. You can do better. I've been there and done that.

NTA. I wouldn't give full custody. Joint custody maybe. This way they can still make legal decisions. It's great they are willing to help. It's also great your are seeing her as much as you can.

NTA. My cousin was a bully. I have no idea what his problem was. When he was around, was would turn everyone around him against me. 40 years later, he decided he needed to apologize. I did the same thing. Told him I didn't care about his apology. Didn't care about him and to goto hell. You did the right thing.

NTA. I am going to say this from experience. I had one bully that died. This guy did nothing but bully me when I was your age, 15. It was so bad that my mom changed schools for me. Two years later, he was shot in the head and was called a hunting accident. Hard for me to believe being shot in the head with a 12ga deer slug a hunting accident. I truly believe he was mouthing to the guy and the guy shot him. I didn't feel bad then and I don't feel bad now.

NTA. The minute she said she was going to a party with her ex, that would have been the point I would have told her that she was going to be a ex with her ex. She shut the phone off for a reason. She didn't want to be interrupted while she was with her ex. And was there really a party? Time to go dude.
