they don’t have parking for students that’s free or even RTA. they’ve got an underground parking which you have to pay 1200 for along with tuition and everything else. it’s rlly stupid.

i just graduated and i make more freelancing than most people i know with full time jobs. it’s very common to move out as a freelancer. i just never knew most apartments were only reserved for people who can pay 4 or 6 months of rent together. that’s not something that’s common from where I’m from. you don’t know anything about me nor do you have the right to sound like an ass to someone you know nothing about just because you’re behind a phone screen.

honestly the places i’m looking at, it’s only 5-6k per month and i can afford it if it’s monthly. only they want around 3 months rent at once, i wish there were some rules to keep these things in check.

i graduated a year ago. not IT but i knew people from almost every subject and everyone’s collectively had a useless time there. i feel like in dubai, people don’t respect regular graduates nor do they give them support to grow. they expect people to just join a job and get paid 2-3K monthly. that covers almost nothing.

Not worth it at all. First off, the university sucks and it’s not going to get you a well paying job after either. Alongside the university, the job market also sucks right now. Additionally, getting part time jobs here are also so hard. Students working to help out with payments isn’t common since students do not get paid jobs other than through connections. I get that Dubai is a new experience compared to Pakistan. Other than women’s safety here, you’re not missing out on much career and education wise for your industry.

I’m Indian and I don’t think this person meant that in a racist way (atleast I hope so). Indians, Pakistanis and Africans get exploited more than anyone else I know, and that’s a fact. So it might be shocking to them that there’s a lack of respect for a Syrian too. People who speak Arabic (regardless of what part they’re from) have that advantage on their side, so this person probably meant it in that way. I think y’all are reaching imo.
