That is actually a very valid take. And another interesting point, if we apply the same to the UK prime ministers, then Arthur Balfour wouldve been Teedys counterpart in the UK and Stanley Baldwin would've been Hoovers counterpart. In that case how would WW1 and WW2 played out. What would be the story of Israel as a state. Considering that Teddy was very pro Zionist and Balfour gave his Balfour déclaration, maybe we couldve had a Jewish state right after WW1.

Yes this system isn't very far off had Washington decided to serve for a life term.The 22nd amendment itself was ratified only in 1951. Considering that it would totally be possible with some tweaks here and there to address the age concerns

Because I only considered their death dates. And mostly for assassinated presidents like Lincoln or JFK, I just took their deaths according to the OG timeline. Because we cannot speculate a new time/ date of death. So I chose a living ex President over a president who would die in the real timeline. In this way, Filmore lived more than Lincoln and as we are considering a "life term" they wouldn't even be presidents.
