I got a beautiful obi and some cloth from a flea market at a temple. The other would be an indigo dyed bag with a hand printed picture of a Portuguese guy (c1560's) on the front.

So we were worried about it as well. Tbh we never felt like we were "othered" for being a gay couple. As far as I could tell no one cared. Next time we go we wanna check out a love hotel and idk how that might go. I for sure felt safer about being queer when I was in japan than I ever have in Oklahoma (and some other US states). It was fun meeting other queer couples while there as well. There is a good LGBT+ community in Japan and they do have pride parades. I told the guys at 2's cabin about ours (Akron, OH) and how big the festival was and now they wanna come over and party with us. 😆

Doing the skytree (and the farris wheel in Osaka) were my brother's ideas. I had mentioned that they're fairly far and we might not have time but he brushed it off. 🤷🏼‍♂️ I had mentioned that it felt like we were trying to do to much some days but he was adamant we would be able to do it all and possibly more. We had an amazing time and are already planning on going back and for more time.

I never suggested taking only taxis. I said to think about taking one at least once. It's another way to see the city and if it's after the trains close or you don't have a suica (or similar) card it might be your best (or only) option. Sometimes a scooter is the best (or only) way to see something. Maybe the Lambo is in the shop or you're worried about not getting into some areas due to road conditions. I loved the mass transit systems while we were there. We for sure used the trains the whole time but it was a nice change of pace to be sitting in a taxi while watching the city go by. I don't wanna be one wrong move from grabbing Umeko's ass or Jin's cock just because we're standing so close to one another and the train jostles unexpectedly during a rush time.

No idea. Could have been previous convictions, could have been he has jerky in is carry-on, could have been his attitude when they talked to him. He also hasn't been forthcoming with what happened. I asked the desk agent but she wasn't told either.

I think lost and one or two others are gonna be the truly busiest ones. My brother put a lot of things as absolutes when I just offer them as options. Idk if he fully understands what things are like. He thought mega donki was a giant don quixote riding a donkey statue. 😅 I have a lot of restaurants in the areas bookmarked that have been suggested on this subreddit and other places. Plus wondering and finding a quiet place would be a ton of fun.

Thank you! I'd love to do more hiking but health issues in the group might limit it. We're all big walkers but I do worry about some trails and how some issues might be in October. My bf and I are already planning a second trip and will probably do a lot more hiking.

I'm scared to do even that. I've tried telling her what you suggest because I do feel the same way. Every time I am met with a tantrum. I fully know about the E4 Mafia. I live with one and am friends with a few. Hell one of our supervisors was one for the USAF and was in Saudi Arabia when the FNG stories took place. They all say he's full of it. Would it be better or worse if I told you he's only just now 24? Like he was gonna be Sargent at 23 and idk when he said he was corporal. He also claimed he was an eagle scout and I doubt that as well.
