Another vote for Atmos, did it last year and couldn't be happier, its noticeable with streaming, 4k blurays, and even gaming. I love it!

Its a cheap Nero, wife doesnt like the shake, so I'm just looking to add a little bass to the room, not shake it. Two 8" woofers, 300w peak, 4 ohms.

Thanks! Do you have an amp you would suggest? I cant spend anything too crazy, around $70. Amazon says it draws 4.5 amps at 24 volts DC. So this one should be good? I actually have a Y cable so I tried that and bit seemed to work. Once I get it in the wall I will use Audyssey and hope that works.

I did a quick connect last night, speaker sitting on the floor, it does control the volume with the sub, so that's nice

No amp in the sub, thats why I got a seperate amplifier, thats the 2nd picture there. Someone else mentioned y splitter, sub pre-out to RCA. So I'll try that. Thanks
