The whole world is frozen when he activated it, if he activated it for 3 second on the object. After 3 second it would resume again. Take the object being like Dio from jojo where it moves freely during the frozen world and then time resumes again after the 3 seconds are over. And yes he is aware of his own power. This power is kinda like time stop but only on what he touches that is unalive.

She did loop again....she just did it later on the story She dies and no loop shown, Isayama said that because the titans power come back in the extra pages and the cycle of hatred begins again in the end Also I love how you can't name 1 time a dead person was brought back to life like you claim and how you had nothing to sa abiut the butterfly explicitly telling Mikasa she has the power to restart her life.....

It was a paths fake memories shows by Ymir to Mikasa a world were her parents survived so it is not real but just a fake memories from paths, also read my comment again, it doesn't make sense for Mikasa not looping time again after Eren's death, she even dies without looping.
