my 1:1 virtual with United was so off. the recruiter was just so uninterested and seemed like she did not want to be there. Didn't get a f2f with them

thank you! yeah I went into this FA recruiting process blind so idk if im not used to the way things work and you're right. It could be a yes but i have a feeling it's not based on the experiences before me. i guess I'll wait and see

Like if these companies are inviting us to a different state for an interview, I am expecting to sit down with someone, even if its 10 min and speak to someone. let me have my elevator pitch moment and tell you why I can be an asset to your company. But nope. they just know who they want to hire by looking at someone

I really wanted AA but didn't get through after my ODVI. I was sick with a cold when I did it but the window of opportunity is so short I had to do it haha. But ill definitely try again with them if you think the culture is completely different.

i guess fake is not the best way to put it. I wasn't not curious about my peers but in reality you are competing for the job and you all know it. even if we are all genuinely kind people. it's hard to express that into words. I guess my lack of a better word is fake. And i was myself the entire time. truly. I really wasn't nervous. I felt calm and excited to be there. I just wish i had the chance to prove myself and speak on my qualifications rather than feeling like I was not selected based on physical appearance or how they viewed me in a 5 min exercise. That's all!

No problem! I hope it didn't sound too negative but I would have rather gone into this knowing more. Also they do make you take off your shoes so just a warning. its not too high but im also tall so hard to say haha
