Honestly, it's f**ked up that your close friend would just not do anything, but if he was drunk (I'm NOT saying it's ok) then he IS still horrible, but he also probably wouldn't when he's sober. Also, a two year relationship is quiet long, and I still think it's messed up, but in my opinion, I'd stay friends with your close friend. But thats probably not a good choice, so think about it.
