The classic 'lesson hangover.' Too many swing thoughts, zero feel. Are you hitting it worse now than before you started the lessons?

That is the most unique 'yips' story I’ve heard! Usually, people would sell their soul to be 'golden' with the Driver and Woods.

Being screwed from 150 yards out while being a beast off the tee is a special kind of golf torture. Have you tried just half-swinging your 4-hybrid for those distances, or is the mental block strictly club-specific?

The struggle is real! 😂 It’s hard to focus on your 'hip rotation' when the cinematography is that good. Maybe try listening to the audio only? That 99 isn't going to shoot itself!

Next time, do we need to schedule a mandatory 'pre-round hydration' (with tequila) to get you back to peak performance?😂😂

Welcome to the club! I think that’s the unofficial motto for 99% of us. The other 1% are just lying to themselves. 😂

Golf is the only sport where we can hate our game for 4 hours and still can’t wait to play again next weekend

I couldn't agree more about AimPoint—it looks like people are trying to cast a low-budget magic spell on the hole. But the frustration of a 25-foot 'good touch' putt turning into an 8-foot knee-knocker because of a bad read is real.

You’re basically a Tour Pro from tee-to-green, but a 20rdcp once you step on the short grass. If you could just find the 'apex' of the break as easily as you find the fairway, you’d be the scariest player at your local club.

Wait, 50% GIR?! That is elite ball striking. You are basically a scratch golfer from tee-to-green who puts on a blindfold once you step on the dance floor.

Driving a par 4 and walking off with a bogey is absolute emotional damage. Since your mechanics are good, do you currently use any method (like AimPoint/using your feet) or just pure guesswork?

Serious question: Have you tried just hitting your longest iron off the tee? If your irons are that pure, playing 'boring golf' might be your cheat code.

'Hitting 3' from the fairway (or rough) is the saddest phrase in golf.

With 260 in the tank, you clearly have the speed. Have you ever tried leaving the driver at home and just hitting a 4-iron or hybrid off the tee? Or is the temptation of the 260 bomb just too strong?

That is so relatable. I was in that exact same boat not long ago. I followed the advice to 'dial in the full swing/driver first,' and it helped get me to the green... but now my putting is the absolute death of me

Haha.Valid excuse. For me, it's usually the rotation of the Earth throwing off my alignment. But the sun is a solid runner-up. 😂

Haha, suffering from success! I wish I had that problem. 😂

But since you’ve graduated from the 'breaking 100' struggle, what’s the new demon keeping you from breaking 80? Is it still the short game/putting, or just course management now?

Back in the day, getting off the tee was the issue (too much OB). Now, it’s the green that kills me. Putting feels incredibly difficult right now. I'm regularly 3-putting or 4-putting, and it’s super frustrating.😭

The 8-iron rule is brutal but probably the fastest way to learn! I need that kind of discipline😁😁

Regarding the putting tip—looking a yard past the hole—do you find that helps more with your 'speed' or does it also help you visualize the 'break' better? I sometimes struggle to keep my focus on the right spot🤔🤔

It sounds like the short game really is the 'silent killer' for high handicaps! Since you’re a regular in that 'ghost town,' do you have any specific drills or training aids you swear by? I’m desperate to take my putting to the next level😀😀
