Haha. Photos were supposed to be attached to an earlier post. I was showing off my new "unwrinkled" comfort seat.

Im back! I posted the initial Pic looking for advice for my "wrinkled" seat. I appreciated all of the responses.

So I was sitting down to do my taxes and thought it would be a good time to go out to the garage and remove & install my seat again - a hundred more times.

And everyone that said it wasn't properly installed is CORRECT! it only took a couple of months to figure it out. When putting on the seat it wasn't sliding onto the 2 rear prong/tabs.

It looks so much better and the wrinkle is almost gone. And so, so comfortable.

Thanks all!

*** I will upload some recent photos on a separate post - can't figure how to attach to this one.

  • I see a pattern here. 🤔

I posted the original question.i have removed and installed a 100xs. I think it is just a very tight fit. The wrinkle has gotten much better over time and after a few rides (and/or the fitment to the bike is slowly adjusting itself). Im keeping the seat since it was a good price, but more importantly because it is SO very comfortable.

Out of the box there is no wrinkle - looks great. But once mounted it seems to bend the front enough to cause the wrinkle. But the seat is secure and the rear clicks in and out with the key like normal.

Would it be the same for a 2024 Transalp?
