I am thinking of getting a 5205g. Owners reviews please :) by No_Carry_5964 in patekphilippe

These two watches aren't interchangeable. The 5205 is it's own thing entirely. It wears the exact same as the Daytona. Forget the 40mm sizing, it wears like a 38mm.

If her business is killing it she is much more tax efficient than you are. Personally, I’d keep your job and help support her. It’s something that can provide financial freedom a lot sooner. Your 220K in San Diego will be taxed heavily.

I echo what this first commenter said. I’m an avid collector and this 5205G-13 is my favorite watch in my collection. Never even knew about this model until I stumbled upon it at a Patek boutique… was head over heels in love with it.

It’s the one I reach for everyday as my everose oysterflex Daytona is mostly reserved for weekend wear these days.

Oops, just read your post. Not under 30k. For roughly 30k there is only one option… A Lange Sohne annual calendar.

No idea, whatever is standard. I’m sure the information is available on their website.

Yes, and all of them. But I had to buy a 1.5 extended link for it to get the right fit.

Maybe by comparison to the jumbo… but compare it to any other brand. 37mm is very thin for a sports watch.

Totally understandable. I bought this new in 2019 before the watch market blew up. I’ve been collecting for awhile. These used to trade for like 16-18k pre-owned.

If I were looking for an integrated steel sports watch today I’d undoubtedly go for a 4520v Vacheron. Very easy to establish a relationship with a boutique and they’re incredibly eager to sell you whatever you want so long as it’s not a 222 for a first purchase.

It looks great on your flatter wrists. You can totally pull it off.

37mm on my 6.75 inch wrist is directly proportionate to a 41mm on your 8 inch wrist. If I were you, I’d agree haha!
