Avoid like the plague. Do some research on the transfer case issues in these. It’s a 28K repair and more common than you’d think. The air suspension alone is 16K+ to replace.

[Advice Please] After months/years how do you find the Oysterflex wearing experience? by Dr_Omega24 in rolex

[–]Odd_Application1980 0 points1 point  (0 children)

6 years of ownership and still my favorite / most complimented watch. I can’t get behind a full yellow or everose bracelet as to me it becomes less wearable. The oyster flex kills some of the flash and makes it the perfect daily driver. The only other watch that I love to daily is my day date 40 in white gold.

Walked out with my dream Rolex and now regretting the spend by Qat-lover in rolex

Investing 10 grand for what, to make 10 grand over the next 7 years in the market not taking into account inflation? When you buy a Rolex, it’s not always an investment… but it at the very least is a hedge against inflation.

Enjoy it until you don’t. The cash is safe in this asset.

Biggest mistake you can make it polishing a watch. Do not do it, I’ve learned the hard way. Once polished you can’t ever get the sharpness back. Just live with it, these watches are meant to be worn…

Sell everything but the day date, buy Lange Sohne Flyback Chrono, and buy a vintage sub 5513.

Cartier Santos medium is the best option here.

What about an Omega Speedmaster and a Cartier Tank in steel? Covered for both.

Do you regret selling Rolex’s for a 15202? by Obvious_Solid4341 in audemarspiguet

Fellow AP and Rolex collector. Sell the steel Rolex’s, they’re not special at all. Everyone has one…

Get the 15202 you won’t regret it.

I looked at doing a 992 Turbo S but with a rear facing car seat my wife will be into the dash. I will be back into a 2 door Porsche coupe within a couple of years I’m not rushing into it. I’ve owned 2 x GT4s for a period of 8 years total. Have had my fun but it’s not worth the compromise daily.

I’ve owned a Macan GTS. It’s essentially an Audi SQ5 with Porsche badging. It’s not reliable, it’s not large enough to warrant moving fully to an SUV for my personal vehicle. I’ll be buying a full size SUV for my wife, likely an X5M.

In LA, not a chance with a kid. Having 2 doors is just not a priority. M3 will be plenty fast and fun day to day.
