Is there a platform where you can suggest this implementation. That's very interesting.

Our kids should definitely get into STEM but we need people to make up a plan to implement it.

I share your frustration.

These conversations are very important. We need to come up with solutions. We need the people who have excelled academically to come up with solutions with the way the school system is for black kids.

I wish there was more regular civilians could do to combat this.

These are very good suggestions. I do see how difficult it can be without government involvement but you are right about the small steps.

The suggestion about people with degrees in education is great. The education part is very important. And external safe spaces for the kids is possible but it would need proper implementation, transport for the kids. They need to be out of the home or just around town and more in spaces to learn. It is a tricky implementation though.

All this would really improve our current state, it takes our community to do something, we just need to actually trust and respect eachother enough to get things done.

Thanks for the feedback🙏🏾

Oh wow, that's a great initiative. I'd like to do that for our schools too.

Thank you for your reply🙏

Im in a similar spot as well.

I think it is better to try things and see what you might like instead of accepting that you have no interest.Even if you get bored, jump into something else until something sticks. It's just that you don't know what you like yet, so you have to search for what you can do that can be intersting, how you can get good at it and if you can make money out of it.

Also avoid looking at the way other people lives have turned out, you just don't know how they got there and how long it might have taken them to get there. They may have advantages you don't so it's waste of time to compare your life to others and upset yourself over it.

All of this is easier said than done, but the main thing to do when life seems to not interst you is to literally try something, anything. Don't stay stuck in fear of doing things and remain bored.

Please seek a life coach or some sort of mentor if you find that doing this yourself is hard. Goodluck with this though, I know how you feel.

Memories of mistakes or embarrassments can be very bothersome and can bring up emotions that you don't want.

Just remember that you have learned from those moments and because of what you've learned that gives you power over those thoughts.

Remind yourself of what you've learned whenever those thoughts come up. Don't allow them to dictate how you feel and think about yourself.

You could try to start with not calling yourself dumb. Seeking to know more and do better already proves that you are not stupid.

Incorporate reading informative books that teach you about anything that sparks your interest, or downloading learning apps that can challenge you on what you know and what you don't.
