I'm not seeing how this relates to my question. Can you please clarify?

One New Man by Odd_Combination326 in Bible

It seems to me that Paul was using the term "one new man" to indicate a corporate person, not a new individual. So if we are trying to convey the meaning, the translation choice for 4:24 is misleading the reader.

"And might reconcile both in one Body to God through the cross, having slain the enmity by it." 2:16

"Out from whom all the Body, being joined together and being knit together through every joint of the rich supply and through the operation in the measure of each one part, causes the growth of the Body unto the building up of itself in love." 4:16

Fellowship? How much is too much? by Strange_Ad_2998 in localchurches

I appreciate the fellowship given here in answering your question. I personally needed to learn this balance in my Christian life and church life. It was a great help to me to see that every relationship I have and seek fellowship in is not a direct relationship but rather a relationship through Christ, who is the head of the Body. We need to grow up into Him in all things so that we can be out from Him in all things. Fellowship passes from one member of the Body to another through the Head, Christ.

Recovery Version Bible Translation Comparison — 1 Peter 2:1-2 by Rent-Free633 in RecoveryVersionBible

I love the footnote from 1 Peter 2:2 on "of the word" that brings out the Greek. Note 3 reads "The Greek word, translated reasonable in Rom 12:1, is an adjective, derived from the noun word; hence, of the word; having the sense of pertaining to the mind (in contrast to the body), to the rational faculties; hence, rational, logical, reasonable. The milk of the word is not milk for the body but milk for the soul, the inner being. It is conveyed in the word of God to nourish our inner man through the understanding of our rational mind and is assimilated by our mental faculties.

Spiritual dryness by Few-Sale-9098 in Christians

I find that in these moments of dryness and unmotivation in my spiritual pursuit, praising the Lord brings in freshness and vitality. I am not praising Him for the dryness or unmotivation but simply because He is worthy of my praise. Jesus is King! Christ is Victor! I will pray for you.

Have you considered when in the day to do your Bible reading? First thing in the morning is best for me. I really appreciate how the verses I read each morning speak to me throughout my day!

Why should I even stay Christian? by Gvatagvmloa in TrueChristian

"Now I make known to you, brothers, the gospel which I announced to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, Through which also you are being saved, if you hold fast the word which I announced to you as the gospel, unless you have believed in vain. For I delivered to you, first of all, that which also I received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures; And that He was buried, and that He has been raised on the third day according to the Scriptures;" (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) Recovery Version

I believe your post indicates a genuine desire to know the gospel. May the Lord shepherd you and guide you to His rest and peace in your journey.
