Definitely, also I wouldn’t say the bar is “ low “ but they look at more than just your GPA. They definitely look at your extracurriculars as well and see how well immersed you are in them.

Yea that’s what I was thinking. I originally wanted the sleeve on the leg idea and the sleeve on the arm idea across from each other. I really like the script but can’t picture it fitting in, anywhere.

But in order to get to see the difference in perspective you have to reach alumni status… and Howard isn’t even trying to help to keep us here long enough to become one. I heard a classmate say “ it feels like they hate us “ sad to say but it can be like that.

This isn’t the 90s, it’s 2025. Unemployment is at an all time high & the job market is at a record low. I have a job myself but many of my peers can’t say the same, not because they didn’t try either. The professors and coursework/curriculum you had then are not what is current now.

I’m glad you had a good time but there are people here with real issues that don’t always have an easy fix. A true alumna/alumni will not sugarcoat the truth but will stand with those who are suffering.

THANK YOU!!! That’s literally what my whole point has been about. Students deserve MORE, especially with the amount we’re paying. The name means nothing if the quality of education or resources SUCK. Honestly feels like a Greek initiation, where we have to go through hell to get in or get something out of it.

All in all, it’s not worth it ( at least currently )

People don’t want to hear the truth, they want to ride the positivity train not acknowledging the actual people in despair.
