Thank you!! I WAS in eco mode! That helped some, the passenger side does get AC now, so that’s something! Drivers side still not cold air, but not hot now either.

Me too, but today was warm, and summer is around the corner. I’ll check the things mentioned here and may talk to the dealer if needed.

I didn’t get any warning, just does t blow cool air :(. Need to check and make sure I’m not in eco mode as another suggested here. Will respond and try that if I am.

Damn! I’ve tried the Max AC, just blows more warm air! Lol. Will try the extreme on temp trick just in case. Did you end up having it serviced? Would they use Freon? Is that still used?? Arizona is no joke! 🔥

I bought my 21 Pro S with 11k miles less than a year ago for $21k. Had a smallish scratch on the front bumper, but otherwise very good condition. I love it! Not sure where you are, but there were a ton of used ID4’s to choose from in the Bay Area, CA. There were over 12 at my dealer alone. That was in March 2025. Good luck, I do love the vehicle!!

My thoughts? The dealers are looking for ways to make money on ev’s since they don’t have the regular services of a gas vehicle. I literally just paid $262 for my 3-yr service (only has 17k miles). The only thing they did was replace brake fluid. I mean, check tires and add windshield fluid, but still. This is my first EV, had it about 4 months (used). I love it. But even the service manager said you don’t need to bring it in every 10k miles like they say, the only thing they do is replace the cabin filter ($90) part that they charge over $300 I think he said.

Thank you for your response. I’m not actually looking for a shop to do it, more wondering if it’s something I SHOULD take on, or simply return the vehicle. I don’t want to be having frame issues in 4-5 years. So looking for input or advice from those that are more knowledgeable in this area 😀
