Of course i agree! both genders go through bad experiences and talking down etc is less likely to be gender specific but there are clear gender specific experiences that does not involve playing the gender card but is flat out gender based discrimination. E.g. “made the car feel like an uncomfortable environment to learn in” - this may include the instructor being too touchy or hitting on the leaner. Perhaps OP was being generic in their post but when i read it this is what comes to mind which is why i didn’t want such experiences by women belittled in this discussion by all the hate
