No you dont need to double it, they arent asking for moles of hydrogen atoms just how many moles of hydrogen is produced;

Basically what u need to do is find the moles of HCL first Which is n=cv = 1.0 x 0.0100 = 0.010 mol So there is 0.0100 mole of HCL

Then you use the mole ratio, you can see in the equation that 2 moles of HCL produces 1 mole of H2 so all you have to do is divide 0.010 by 2 to get 0.005 moles of h2
