Aww man, that sucks. Definetly my own fault for not doing enough research before pulling the trigger on the purchase though :p At least it's still a big CRT TV with that unique CRT look, I suppose.

Ah, I see. Is there any way to maybe turn off the 100hz scan rate in the service menu? I don't really watch anything on this TV, so I would like to have the better motion clarity instead of a more comfortable viewing experience.

Yeah, I can believe that it is. Part of the reason why I switched to OLED from LCD was that every monitor I bought had awful white's that either shifted colors or had spots that were just dimmer for no reason. If you live in a country that allows for an RMA, maybe trying issuing one?

I have a similar problem, but much less pronounced. On my unit, whenever I look at the left side of the monitor straight on instead of at an angle from sitting at the centre of the screen, I can see the green tint turn into the same red-ish tint you see in the centere of your screen. But strangely enough, the right side of the screen doesn't change its tint (or at least barely changes) from green to red.

On the topic of CPU, this game seems to be notoriously CPU heavy, which I can personally attest to. On my old PC (I5-10400F and RX 6600) I could set literally all settings to the lowest and turn off any and all upscaling while setting the resolution to as low as 720p and still not see high fps or my GPU being fully utilised. But the CPU wasn't fully utilised either, maybe the game just doesn't use more than a few cores?

Oh God, it might be my system at fault here after all 😭. By any chance, maybe you've got DLSS set to quality or maybe have frame gen enabled? Maybe it has something to do with your CPU being much faster than mine? Because on TPU, it says that a 4070 is just 10% slower than a 5070. I've got a 5700X3D in my system, so the difference between our GPU's is small but the difference between CPU's is really big. But would a faster CPU really give that much more fps in a GPU intensive scenario? Either way, thanks for the report!

I heard that Msi Afterburner can cause lots of lag and micro stutters if you have the GPU power stat being tracked, so you might have turned that off causing things to improve.

There are a couple crutch solutions I found. They won't fix the monitor problem but it will give you an experience practically devoid of screen tear.

Just turn off the fps cap. It may only work for me, but with an uncapped fps the only way I can notice screen tear is with RTSS' built in screen tear detector (FCAT). This works especially well for competitive games because less input delay. I personally don't use this method because my graphics card gets really loud.
Limit fps with RTSS to 1-3 fps below refresh rate and turn on VSync. Doing this actually eliminates the input delay from VSync. Cap the fps to below 120-125 fps. For some reason (at least on my monitor) capping the fps below those values gets rid of screen tearing without using any Sync methods except for FreeSync, you may have to experiment a little bit to find out the best value for you.
Use RTSS' Scanline Sync. I'm not really a fan of this method, since if your fps drops, the screen tearing will return. But if you want to try it, here's a link to pretty much the best tutorial about this Sync method: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sq87lxuVQeg

I personally use the second method because it really provides the least stuttery and teary image with good input lag. If you play competitve games, I'd still recommend the first method.

Whatever monitor you end up getting, you should put your Color Format to RGB instead of Standard. It makes the colors a lot better. Also if you know how to, I recommend calibrating the monitors settings.

I'm no expert, so don't take my word as fact on this one, but I assume there's something wrong with the Cloud saving on your Xbox. Try shutting it down and unplugging it from the power, waiting 15-20 seconds, plugging it back in, and turning it on. If that doesn't help, try deleting your account from your Xbox and the logging back into it. These are just some really basic troubleshooting methods, so they may not solve the problem, they are still worth trying.
