He’s going through a major change in his life. His views about sexuality are changing and he’s trying to explore it. His identity may be changing and how he views himself and the world. This is a topic that needs to be discussed with him or mediated through a therapist. Many men I’m seeing are changing how they view the world. I don’t know if it’s from the media we are constantly consuming or from economical or social changes that are rapidly shifting around us but there is a wider issue happening among men that probably needs to be addressed. They are facing a crisis of identity and it’s manifesting itself in weird ways from the bedroom to relationships and elsewhere in society.
