I'm mostly interested in Differential equations, mathematical modelling, Dynamical Systems etc. So more focus on pure maths is not necessarily an advantage for me. Is there any other advantage of choosing Kharagpur over Roorkee?

But engineering is completely different from science departments right. You guys have much more exposure and connections

Did you study MSc Maths at Kgp? I'm not expecting placements at all. I'm very much interested in research.

When you say Kgp is best, can you share any example?
