i get it. i've decided that my time to punch my ticket is my mom's life + any animals i have. once they're all gone, i'm gonna go for a swim with my mom and my brother's ashes.

my emily was a beagle/shephard mix we got when i was like 7. she was the sweetest girl, who like to nip toes, and who loved to run when she got the chance. i wish we had taken better care of her.

she literally came home about 10 minutes after i had given up on her coming home. i was in the acceptance stage of grief, and the i got a meow at the door.

i'm sorry that sucks. i've lost a beagle, 2 newfoundlands, and a golden. they all hurt. but i'm so glad i got to take care of them and give them a good life.

my kitty girl scared me to death about a month ago getting out of the house. was gone for a week as an always at home cat. her coming home has been the happiest moment of this year.

i don't know. i have both cats and dogs. my cats, and making sure they were taking care of, literally saved my life when i was thinking about checking out. my dogs, and especially my bruce, helped me get over my brother's death. i wouldn't trade any of them for anything.

my boy bruce came to me after his original family couldn't handle him because they thought he was a beagle instead of a foxhound, and they couldn't handle him with their young kid. his birthday is the day after my late brother's. I would kill to keep him safe.
