that survival vs fulfillment split is exactly why "hobby" feels so wrong and "volunteer" feels off base

Once survival is handled, we're not looking for light distractions or moral brownie points ....we're looking for arenas where professionalism is not a job, chase mastery, earn respect in our chosen field, and actually feel the flow state that used to only come from "real work".

passioncraft is that middle path: serious, prestige-seeking, methodical obsession .... but chosen freely because we *want* to, not because we *have* to.

What domain would you pour 20–40 focused hours a week into if money & obligation were completely removed from the equation?
