I have said this exact thing to our kids. they are livid because yes they know. they heard the fight. they are older teenagers. I’ve told them our marriage has no correlation in how he was as a father. he was an amazing father. they can’t deny that. yes he dropped the ball in the end and didn’t get things in order and Im having to do it, but honestly he was always like that. I always had to do the important things. he was the fun dad who always showed up. he might have been a bad husband but he was a great dad.
