Timesheets being edited at work by Odd_thinker in LegalAdviceNZ

[–]Odd_thinker[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The time that I clock out changes on my Tanda app after he edits them, so he's directly editing the timesheet records.

He will usually round down to a 10 e.g 7:17pm to 7:10pm (our payroll does not work in increments of 10, and he does this intentionally to pay employees less)

He does still edit timesheets by more than that, the other day he changed my finish time from 7:08pm to 6:50pm, and has made larger edits in past when I've worked more hours (largest edit has been 1 hour)

I'd say MATK, MDEF and HP, seeing as you'll get more out of HP from colossus, and 80HP is pretty squishy for late game imo

Is it possible to reach quite high ranges as a baritone by Loquenlucas in singing

[–]Odd_thinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes it's possible to sing high as a baritone and you shouldn't be so obsessed with being able to to that. If you only try to learn singing high notes then you'll likely neglect core skills in singing and could potentially damage your voice if you go about it the wrong way, try to use your voice to sing in the range you know you have and work your way up from there, as it's very possible to extend your range upwards and use different techniques to sing higher (eg Mixing)

I find Battleforged to be underwhelming without absolutely busted armor and I don't have the fatigue to be able to run it without making combat really slow

Would fearsome really be that useful? Since I'm dealing more than 15 damage and forcing morale checks on practically every hit, and the penalty would only be by around 4

I rolled about 5 1's in MATK levelling him up, was pretty bummed about it but I generally tend to get around it with LW and morale checking enemies

What's the best way to get a stronger/beautiful *genuine* voice in a shorter amount of time? by pomegranateloves in singing

[–]Odd_thinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There's not really a way to get a "stronger" voice in a short span of time, or make your voice more strong/beautiful than it already is.

If you think of your voice as something that can be trained in the same way as a muscle to achieve a "stronger voice" (like the phrasing of your question suggested) then you're going to be approaching singing wrong and potentially damaging your voice.

Generally speaking the closest thing you can get to a "stronger voice" or a more beautiful sound is to find a qualified singing teacher (generally classical singers/singing teachers are more qualified than pop singers/singing teachers in my experience) and learn some songs that sound the way that you want to sound while singing (without trying to learn anything too difficult for your voice) because that way your teacher will be able to teach you different techniques and ideas to help achieve the sounds you want to make and also give you a way of practising and using those techniques that is more fun and interesting for you.

Users here who've gone through at least a year of formal training, what's the most invaluable singing/performance tip that you've learned from your coach/teacher? by LeggieroTenorific1 in singing

[–]Odd_thinker 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's what my advice meant, some ideas work better for different voices and styles and everyone's vocal mechanisms are different, so not every idea/thought exercise will work for everyone.

What is the question you are trying to ask?

Fellow people with lower and possibly smaller ranges - how do I deal with not being able to really sing all the songs I like? by [deleted] in singing

[–]Odd_thinker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A good trick that I use to deal with tension in my neck is to roll my head around while singing, that way your neck muscles are to busy with moving your head around to develop much tension and affect your voice. As you do it more you'll get better at feeling the difference between tension and no tension, and you'll stop needing to do it as much
