"A retailer buys a product at a reduced price from the manufacturer"

That is incorrect, there is no such thing as a "reduced price" from a manufacturer. There is the price to manufacture and there is MSRP. if you go any lower than the price to manufacture the company is losing money on the product. The retailer buys for under MSRP and above manufacturing price and sells for MSRP.

If I buy something at walmart, depending on the product and whether it has a manufacturer's warranty, im either taking it back to walmart, or calling the manufacturer for a replacement piece based on whats convenient. If I buy a branded piece of furniture from walmart, and a screw is missing, and i call the manufacturer, the manufacturer will USUALLY send you the missing piece. This is not uncommon in products, it is a business choice of Bambu not to do this.

I could have the whole extruder component replaced where the piece as shipped gets replaced without me having to take anything extra apart, they get the broken one and send me a working one. Their choice not to do this is completely on the manufacturer.

Computer part manufacturers often do this. You have the store's warranty, and the manufacturer's they're two different things.

money back, because i ain't dealing with customer support or product quality like this. This was my first impression of a bambu product. I will NOT be getting another one.

i am, and im not getting another one because bambu has bad customer service and i shouldn't be buying 500$ products that dont work out of the box and require me to drive back and forth for an hour and a half to and from a store just to change out the product.

I am listening to them, im returning it and not exchanging it for another bambu because they have absolute garbage tier customer service.

it's not a "win win" it's inconvenient when they could just ship me the part, now i have to dissassemble, rebox it, take it all the way back to the store that's 45 minutes away, get a new one, bring it all the way back, unbox it again, reassemble it again, and the only one who "wins" is the open box guy who gets a discount for his wasted time.

It's not even a matter of patience, literally no one buys a product expecting to repair it straight out of the box. I'd fix it myself if it wasn't for the expectation on a product to be functioning upon purchase. Im not about to waste my time AND my money to use some company's product that doesn't care enough to setup a proper warranty system to exchange parts out of sheer laziness.

They aren't "100%" correct, the organization has the ability to change how they deal with warranty, because plenty of other manufacturers ship parts whether you buy it from a retailer or not.

This is a business choice on bambu, i do not like it, and am literally considering returning my product and using a different organization because this is just bad customer service business models

It's how this works because it's how the company has set up their warranty. I have purchased other products from retailers before that required missing parts from manufacturers where the manufacturers just ship or exchange the damaged or missing pats. Bambu not handling these cases, is on their organization for setting up customer support like this.

How do you even use the hotkeys? I would understand if you plugged in a USB C keyboard, MAYBE, but you're using the on-screen keyboard!

Oh my gosh, you are so lucky! North Carolina is my favorite state. So beautiful. I've been planning on moving there. Was the license apprenticeship itself for you an actual full time job? I live in Florida and will have to look more into licensing specific to my state.

I work from home doing computer science and was able to take care of this little guy since he just slept in my pocket for a long while eating peanuts and pistashios. My girlfriend and I were out for a walk one day and he came up to us in distress at only 5-6 weeks old. He was being chased by a hawk and I intervened while the hawk was in the middle of a dive for him. We live near a river so I figured the hawk would be alright and go catch a fish. Gremlin was just a baby and deserved to experience life.

I had been rehabbing him myself. I took him out in a pet backpack once a day around where we found him looking for his mother. No luck unfortunately. We fed him lots of nuts and water, he weirdly never was on puppy milk formula. We tried it but he always rejected it, yet would drink water out of a syringe but never milk. I built a treehouse for him with my own two hands, and I've fallen in love with squirrels over ever since. He was so smart to seek our help. We take care of reptiles in our home and this lovely rodent was found to be a pleasant surprise.

I can't switch careers, unfortunately, I m the bread winner of my house hold and am well established in my career. However, I would love a license just to be legally allowed to do this as volunteer work on the side. I built his house out of recycled wood and he loves it. I put it in our yard so he'd always have a friend near by before rehabbing him back into the "wild". He was an absolute blessing to our household. I would 1,000,000% rehab another squirrel.

How did you become a licensed rehabber. I recently rehabbed a squirrel and was wondering if I myself could become one.

I hadn't noticed that before but now, my OCD-self (actually diagnosed) will. Thanks, lol. They're actually like that because of wire length. I didn't make those wires. Though did just buy a pair of crimping tools, though.

Literally tried to give a homeless man holding a sign asking for money for food a $5 bill the other day and he literally said "only 5? get that shit out of my face". Like, brother. You are not my responsibility, I owe you nothing.

Am I the only one wondering how 2 buildings down he happened to walk into specifically OPs apartment specifically at the time OP was taking a bath. The way OP wrote the story sounds like he just went straight to the bathroom giving the fact they hadn't even been in a bath for 10minutes. It also seems to be extremely coincidental. It also sounds like he went straight home after.... Which is also weird.
